sonar is the only one i haven't tried, but having tried all the others, i have to say that logic is the toughest for me. i fire it up and don't even know how to create a simple 2 bar drum pattern (clip)
and if i can't do this withought having to read the manual, than that host is not for me

im sorry i think logic is easy and a damn site easier than cubase i cant get any fucking sound output from it. must be my sound card and i think sonar isnt 2 great i think reason and live are the best and are so easy 2 use

This artist was formely known as Vex

I have tried all and SONAR is the most free flowing and user friendly of the lot. The simple tasks in music production are simple in SONAR but over sophistcated in CUBASE and LOGIC (exp: adjusting midi notation)

There will always be a learning curve no matter which program you use and all sides can argue their case for their preferred sequencer. There are pros and cons to all and it come down to personal choice but be sure that from a complete beginner, SONAR is actually the most logical and user friendy of the big3.

Nuff said!
